Winter Solstice

The longest night of the year is tomorrow. After this, the days get longer and the nights shorter.
This is one of the eight Sabbats of the year. This is the time on the Wheel of the Year that light is born. The sun is returning from the south and bringing life back to the land.
Celebrate with candles, fires, sparklers. Light is born. You could even stay up to greet the sun as it rises in the east. The longest night of the year is over.
